I think, small key is about the honesty of two persons.Honesty was just a small thing but it is a kind of a key to have a good relationships even with our friends.
2. It shows tha a person in the story has his big secret and he do not want to reveal it.
3. Unfortunately, the secret was revealed.
4. Fro me, every person has different things and secrets they always keep in their mind.
Sometimes people do something to satisfy themselves even when they are fully aware of what the consequences of their actions will be.
